Wedding: Randy & Janie

I've tried to think of something creative to write about Randy & Janie, but it's tough, so I'll keep it simple... they are one of the coolest couples that I have met and their wedding helped display their true love for each other. I don't believe Janie stopped smiling for one second throughout the entire day.

This wedding allowed me to step foot inside of an Iglesia Church for the first time. From the traditional details and decor of the church, to the choir singing in the back, the wedding certainly provided a warm atmosphere.

As a photographer, you hope to capture a few images that people can feel when they view them. Sometimes, you never know when you'll get it, but when you do, it makes you feel rewarded for your time. For me, it happened at the end of their banquet, when they finally managed to squeeze in a couple dances to wrap things up.

Cheers to an awesome couple and thank you for having me around! Now go have some kids so I can take some more pictures!

Family: Peyton

A year sure does fly by fast! Peyton has grown up quite a bit since I last photographed her. Today, you can find her crawling, walking, and interacting so much! One thing that will never change about Peyton is her beautiful blue eyes and it certainly shows in some of the photographs.

I've read that some of the personality traits that you see in your children now can potentially serve as an indicator of how they will be when they grow up. One can only wonder what Miss March will be like next year! Stay cute Peyton!

Tim & Kerri - Thank you for inviting me back again!

Family: Doug & Mitzi

Doug and Mitzi are in the process of migrating back to the East Coast and wanted to have some photographs taken back in historic DC. They have two fun-loving kids - FULL of personality, Anderson and Elsa. Anderson loves his matchbox cars and Elsa seems to like just about anything Mom, Dad, or Anderson does, along with jelly beans!

Our initial target was the Cherry Blossoms near basin around the Jefferson Memorial (which had sentimental value to Doug & Mitzi), but we found that it was too packed to photograph there since the Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom, attracting tourists galore. Instead, we made our way to the Lincoln Memorial, where the kids roamed freely and still managed to find some Cherry Blossoms nearby.

Welcome back to the East Coast guys!
